2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany (server location Helsinki, Finland). When the website is accessed, the web server processes technically necessary data, in particular IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser and operating system. This processing serves to provide and secure the website and is based on our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.
3. Enquiry and contact forms
If you contact us via the enquiry or contact form, we process the data you provide, in particular company, name, function, email address, phone number, technical details and uploaded files, in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
For the technical transmission of form data we use our own web server (see Hosting). The data is not stored there but forwarded by email to our mailbox, which is operated by World4You Internet Services GmbH, Linz, Austria.
4. Disclosure to manufacturers and suppliers
To handle a technical enquiry, it is usually necessary to align it with a suitable manufacturer or supplier. For this purpose we pass on the information required to prepare a quotation, in particular technical data, documents and company and contact details. Recipients are based within the European Union or the European Economic Area. Data is only disclosed to the extent necessary to handle your enquiry.
5. Contact by email and phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details to handle your request and any follow-up questions on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.
6. Cookies and fonts
This website does not set any cookies and does not use analytics, tracking or marketing services. The fonts used are loaded locally from our own server; no connection to third-party servers is made. Details can be found in the cookie information.
7. Retention period
We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose. Enquiries that do not result in business are generally deleted once processing is complete and any follow-up questions have been settled. Data subject to statutory retention obligations, in particular under the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code (BAO) and the Commercial Code (UGB), is retained for the duration of those obligations.
8. Your rights
You generally have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
